As a Realtor helping buyers and sellers navigate Austin's dynamic housing market, Justin Gonzalez draws from his background. Growing up in a military and civilian defense contractor family where moving was constant, Justin developed a chameleon's ability to connect with a wide variety of people from a young age. With British and Hispanic heritage, Justin describes his culturally diverse background as 'tea and tacos.' He believes that buyers are seeking much more than a house. They are investing in a hub for their life, a place for their life moments to happen. Justin loves helping people navigate this critical investment as a mediator and advisor.

After finding success in sales and marketing, Justin began his real estate career in 2001 as a partial owner of a small boutique brokerage. He obtained his license in 2005. Since then he spent the last two decades learning from some of the top brokerages in the country. Being at these companies like Keller Williams, Compass and eXp Realty, allowed Justin to learn all different facets of the residential real estate world. His decision to make the move to MODUS Real Estate was rooted in his focus on the technology and marketing tools that would enable him to provide his past and future clients with a more tailored, seamless experience.

Justin is a REALTOR, a CNE (Certified Negotiation Expert), and has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative) designation. NAHREP recognized him as the #6 Latino agent in Austin in 2016. He was a Platinum Top 50 Austin Awards winner or finalist every year from 2013-2020. He was also a finalist in the Austin Business Journal Residential Real Estate Awards in 2014 and 2017.

Despite having lived all over the United States and the world, Justin has always considered the Austin area home. He moved back to Austin in 1993 to be near extended family and has never looked back. Justin lives in the southwest Austin area. He enjoys listening to live music, trying new restaurants, and spending time with his family and friends to experience all that Austin has to offer. His love for traveling keeps him exploring and his perspective fresh, but he always appreciates coming home to the beautiful city Austin has become.
