Born in Colorado and raised in California, Liz is one of those "West Coast transplants" that people like to bemoan, but after living in Austin for almost a decade she can't imagine living anywhere else. The glorious weather, friendly people, amazing outdoor activities, and tacos make her happy to call Austin home.
Liz holds bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Human Development from the University of California, San Diego, a master's in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado, and a certificate in Digital Marketing from the UT McCombs School of Business. She worked for many years as a counselor in a community mental health center before pursuing a career in real estate. Because the process of buying and selling homes can be fraught with emotional ups and downs, Liz's skills and background are particularly suited to helping clients navigate the process. Being a counselor is all about connecting with people and solving problems, real estate is no different.
Liz is passionate about helping people and strives to do so with integrity, honesty, and authenticity. She is a trained listener and a skilled problem solver. She enjoys making connections with people and helping them reach their goals. Liz believes that real estate is a relationship business, not just a transactional one, and feels fortunate that many of her clients become true friends during the process.
When not working with clients, Liz enjoys spending time with her two teenage children, two dogs, and spoiled cockatiel in Southwest Austin. She loves live music and tries to attend as many concerts as possible when her favorite bands come to town. On weekends, Liz is likely scouring vintage shops and flea markets with her daughter, hiking with friends, or catching up on podcasts.
